PEN Status Description
Normal Mode 1 Pen faces the screen with
the link.
Normal Mode 2 Pen doesn't faces the screen
but with the link.
Search for When Pen searching for
Open network open network (Green LED
mode flashing twice every 2 sec).
After holding down Nib and
Function button for 5 secs,
the pen will change to this
mode.
Search for Fixed When Pen searching for
network mode fixed network.
Pairing mode After holding down
Function button for 5 secs,
the Green LED will blink 1
time each 0.15 secs
(continued 10 seconds).
Pair successful When pen pair with
mode projector successfully after
pairing mode (Green and
Amber LED will flash
alternately continued 3
seconds).
Pair failed mode When pen pair with
projector failed after pairing
mode (Green and Amber
LED will flash at the same
time continued 3 seconds).
Sleep mode Enter sleep mode for power
saving purpose.
Low battery The pen battery is low. Two
capability hours are left to run out of
the battery.
Battery is The Photo sensor and RF
exhausted and module cannot work
can not run PB properly. Pen can not work
normal.

1. Pen doesn't face the screen but

2. After searching for AP channel 3
cycles without a link, will enter Sleep
mode.
The MSP430 will check battery
Flashing 1s capacity in normal operation. This
ON/1s OFF alert LED signal is shown if the
battery capacity is low.
The pen battery is exhausted. Power
only works for MSP430. The alert
Solid ON LED will appear 1 minute to save
power and then enter Sleep mode.
Pen cannot be used in this status.
