Power LED flashing amber
The Power LED flashes amber with information codes. The way it flashes indicates the message.
Note: If the Power LED is flashing amber, you can open NAS Navigator2. It will tell you the status of
the LinkStation.

Status
The LED illuminates for 1.0 seconds every 0.3 seconds.
The number of flashes is the tens place of the information code.
The LED illuminates for 0.5 seconds every 0.3 seconds.

Descriptions
The internal temperature of the LinkStation has exceeded the allowable value. Do
not place objects in the area around the LinkStation, or install at a cooler location.
The invalid sectors of the hard drive have reached a dangerous level. Replace the
hard drive indicated by the red Access LED.
