Card Installation
See Figure A.3. The following information may be used to install new
cards as well as to replace an existing card.

Grasp the card and position it over the backplane.
o
Make sure that the edge connector faces down and is aligned prop­
erly. Slowly and firmly slide the card into the edge connector.
o
Secure the bracket of the card to the unit with the bracket screw.
If necessary, reattach any cables.
o
Replace the cover.
NOTE: If a card is purchased that is shorter than the chassis of the com­
puter, the card guide adapter packed with the computer must be installed
between the card and the chassis as shown in Figure A.4.
