Installing Options
Card Removal
Before any cards may be removed, the cover must be taken off.

Disconnect any cables that may be attached to the card. Double
check to make sure that you are removing the proper card.

Remove the support bracket screw securing the card in the computer.
D
Firmly grasp the card to be removed with one hand toward the
front and the other about midway down the card. Lift the card directly
up with firm pressure.
Do not jerk the card.
D
Place the card on a level, nonconducting surface with the compo­
nents facing up.
