  • Page 4: Ch1 Introduction

    The core firmware and webpage configuration is consistent with both 4-port FXO gateway (WellGate 2540) and 24-port FXO gateway (WellGate 2424O). So, there is not any difficulty to use WellGate 2880 if you are already using WellGate 25xx or WellGate 24xx series gateway. Besides, if you have established HTTP provision to manage Wellgate 2504, it should be able to manage this device as well.

    2-5 Debug Settings Wellgate 2880 provides the real time debug to syslog or through Telnet interface. It generates the debug information based on debug level and modules. Since the generating debug will consume system resource, it is recommended to turn on only for necessary and under Welltech FAE’s instruction.

    4-4 NAT Traversal WellGate 2880 supports the following NAT traversal methods. Figure 4-4 NAT Traversal  NAT Traversal: Disable: Disable NAT traversal features  STUN (Type 1,2): Enable STUN for NAT traversal. Since  STUN can be used only for type 1 and type 2 NAT server, it is recommended to use this option.

     Polarity Reversal Detection: When enable the Polarity Reversal Detection; the Wellgate 2880 will use the polarity reversal signal as the answer signal for FXO outgoing call.
