Left-Hand Cover

#T10 Screws (4x)
The left-hand cover gives access to:
• The electronics incl. CPU board, mains connection, power supply
transformer and optional interface pcb.
• The motors, belts and pulleys of the paper feed, ribbon feed and
the optional rewind unit and ribbon save device.
• The circuit boards and cable of the optional memory card adapter.
The left-hand cover plate is fitted to the printer's frame by means of
a total of eight #T10 Torx screws; four along the lower edge and
another four along the top.
CAUTION!
Since the electronic compartment contains wires and compo-
nents with dangerous voltage (115/230 V AC), we strongly
recommend that the printer is turned off and the power cord is
disconnected, before the left-hand cover is removed.
After having disconnected the power cord, open the right-hand
door. Using a #T10 Torx screwdriver, remove the four screws along
the lower edge first, then remove the four upper screws. Put the
cover plate aside on a soft cloth or similar material to avoid
scratches.
