22. PARALLEL INTERFACE BOARD

Description

The Parallel Interface Board adds one parallel communication port
("centronics:") to the standard serial communication port ("uart1:").
The Parallel Interface Board may either be bought separately as a
kit complete with installation instructions, or be factory installed.
The following types of interfaces can be selected:

RS 422 or 20 mA CL

Centronics parallel interface
The setup is in no way affected by the Parallel Interface Board, since
the Centronics interface does neither require any communication
setup nor uses any buffers.
