4.2.5.9 Syslog Configuration
Configurable Data
Admin Status -For Enabling and Disabling logging to configured syslog hosts. Setting this to disable stops logging to
all syslog hosts. Disable means no messages will be sent to any collector/relay. Enable means messages will be sent
to configured collector/relays using the values configured for each collector/relay. Enable/Disable the operation of the
syslog function by selecting the corresponding line on the pulldown entry field.
Local UDP Port This is the port on the local host from which syslog messages are sent. The default port is XXX. The
default port is 514. Specify the local port in the text field.
Non-Configurable Data
Messages Relayed - The count of syslog messages relayed.
Messages Ignored - The count of syslog messages ignored.
Command Buttons
Submit - Update the switch with the values you entered.
Refresh - Refetch the database and display it again starting with the first entry in the table.

4.2.7.1 Configuration
Use this page to configure the parameters of the distinct port.
Selection Criteria
Slot.Port - Selects the interface for which data is to be displayed or configured.
Configurable Data
STP Mode - The Select the Spanning Tree Protocol Administrative Mode for the port or LAG. The possible values
are:
Enable - select this to enable the Spanning Tree Protocol for this port.
Disable - select this to disable the Spanning Tree Protocol for this port.
Admin Mode - Use the pull-down menu to select the Port control administration state. You must select enable if
