Function: Water Outlet System and Outlet Valve

The valve tappet (1) made from stainless
steel is situated in the outlet spout (2) of
the boiler (3) and closes the valve by tight
fitting at the outlet elbow (4). (Fig. 1, 2)
By actuating a delivery button, a voltage is
induced in the water coil which surrounds
the outlet valve.
The magnetic field of the coil lifts the valve
tappet. Water runs through the outlet elbow
to the outlet trough (5). (Fig. 1)
The valve remains open until the water
quantity required for the adjusted beverage
volume is delivered.
The water delivery volume depends on the
beverage strength (ratio) and the volume.
Both values are adjusted on the control
board. (see programming)
The hot water delivery tap (6) is connected
directly to a second outlet spout at the
boiler. (Fig. 1)
Outlet valve
The water flow rate depends on the water
pressure and the outlet cross section.
The water inlet system enables a constant
water level in the boiler and therefore a
constant water pressure.
A jet in the outlet elbow determines the
outlet cross section.
Hence a water flow rate of 4.5 l/min. can
be achieved.
The outlet elbow (4) is positioned in the
outlet spout of the boiler. The outlet hose
(7) leads the water via the screened coil (8)
to the outlet trough (5). (Fig. 1, 2)
An air tube (9) at the outlet elbow
guarantees fast running of the water and
prevents dripping when the valve is closed.
