There are several ways you can configure your Windows workstation to access the 4400 network printer,
depending on which version of Windows you are using and your system configuration. Below, under "Network
Configuration Options," are possible scenarios.
Installing SuperScript 4400 Printer Drivers
As you configure your network operating system, you will need to install a copy of the SuperScript 4400 printer
driver onto each workstation that will be accessing the network printer.
TCP/IP Requirements for Windows Configuration
TCP/IP is required for Windows 95/98, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows for Workgroups, if you want to access and
use the NIC Configuration Menu to view printer status and manage network printers. TCP/IP is also required to
operate the printer in an IP protocol network (such as for peer to peer printing). TCP/IP setup for Windows 95/98
