Special Setup
1. Select <Special>.
2. Select each item and set it properly.
• Day & night : You can switch the
mode to adjust the black and white
level as well as the colors.
- Color : Always displays the video in
colors.
- B/W : Always displays the video in
black and white.
- Auto : Displays in color mode during normal daytime and switches to black and
white mode in a low contrast scene at night.
Auto daytime/nighttime mode setting cannot be selected if the AGC mode in the <Exposure>
menu is set to <Off> or <Manual>.
• Burst Mode : When the night/day mode is B/W, turn it on or off.
• AGC mode : Select the AGC control mode.
When you record an object in the dark area and obtain an image with brightness
lower than a certain level, adjust the image gain's control sensitivity to change the
brightness.
If the AGC mode is set to <Off>, you cannot use the XDR, Sens-up menu or the <Auto> mode for
night/day setting.
If the AGC mode is set to <Manual>, you cannot use the Sens-up menu or the <Auto> mode for
night/day setting.
• AGC Level : When the AGC mode is manual, select a value in the range of
1dB~16dB.
• XDR : The higher the value the better the contrast is but also there is slightly more
noise in the bright and dark areas as a result.
• DNR : The higher the setting is the higher the screen noise is.
