1 . Introduction

This U n i nterruptible Power System (abbreviated as " U PS" hereafter) , G8000 series is designed
to supply power with stable voltage amplitude and freq uency to the load , even wh ile the com mercial
util ity line has i nterruptions, brownouts , blackouts or voltage/freq uency deviatio n .
T h i s instruction is designed t o ensure t h e safe a n d correct operation o f t h e G8000 U PS . Please
read through all of the chapters before operatio n . Above al l , read the "General safety instructions",
"I mportant safety instructions", "Safety Precautions" and "Operation" chapters as these m ust be
carefully read . Please make sure you have a thorough understanding of the i nformation i n these 4
chapters .
Personnel who wi l l instal l , operate and mai ntain this U PS should carefully read this manual
before instal lation and operatio n .
Keep t h i s manual close t o t h e U PS so that you c a n refer whenever necessary.
Also, please read through the instal lation manual (6G3H0529) . That manual describes the
i m portant instructions d u ring the U PS instal latio n . Both manuals should be kept together.
