Connecting the boiler on the flue gas side

This chapter explains how to connect the boiler on the flue gas side.
8.1

Fitting the vent pipe sealing collar (accessory)

We recommend you use a vent pipe sealing collar
( Fig. 59, [1]).
▶ Push the vent pipe ( Fig. 59, [4]) as far as possible onto the draft
diverter outlet ( Fig. 59, [6]).
▶ Place the vent pipe sealing collar ( Fig. 59, [1]) around the vent
pipe ( Fig. 59, [4]) and draft diverter ( Fig. 59, [6]) outlet so
that it overlaps at the top.
▶ Place hose clamps ( Fig. 59, [5]) over the vent pipe sealing collar
( Fig. 59, [1]). One of the hose clamps ( Fig. 59, [5]) must
press onto the draft diverter outlet ( Fig. 59, [6]) and and one
onto the vent pipe ( Fig. 59, [4]).
▶ Tighten hose clamps ( Fig. 59, [5]). The vent pipe sealing collar
( Fig. 59, [1] must fit smoothly and firmly in place.
