Press the CLEAR button to exit from any onscreen guide, remove banners,

or cancel an action.
Use the VOLUME (VOL) button to raise or lower the volume on your TV (if

the TV component button is selected). The remote control must be programmed
to operate your TV for the VOLUME button to work (see Section 3-3,

Press the MUTE button to turn off the volume on your TV (if the TV
