c) Lay the element and limiter on a work
surface. Remove the screws from the
limiter and remove it from the element.
NOTE: Be careful when you remove
the limiter that you do not break the
sensor tube (see below).

6. To remove the hot surface indicator
assembly:
a) Disconnect the violet wire from the indi-
cator terminal and the brown, black,
yellow, and blue wires from the element
terminals.
b) Push back and pull down the front edge
of the hot surface indicator assembly
and unclip the locking arms from the
cooktop.
