Section 4 - Access Point Mode
Access Point Mode
This section describes the configuration interface for Access Point
mode. Make sure that the mode selector switch is in the Router/
AP position on your DIR-505.
If this is your first time configuring the DIR-505, open your web
browser and type http://dlinkrouter in the address bar. You will
automatically be directed to the Wizard Setup Screen. For more
information, refer to "Initial Setup Wizard (Router/AP Mode)" on
page 18.
If the Setup Wizard does not appear, type http://dlinkrouter in

Otherwise, the main configuration screen will appear. If the
DIR-505 is in Router mode, you will need to click on Manual.
Internet. Connection. Setup, select Access. Point for your
Operation.Mode, then click the Save.Settings.button to switch
to Access Point mode.
