Solution
Turn up the ViewStation
volume using the remote
control.
Turn up the volume on your
monitor or external
amplifier.
Check connections and
volume level on your
monitor.
Adjust the sound-effects
volume on the Setup Audio
screen. If you do not want
to hear sound effects, set
the volume to 0.
Check audio output by
selecting "Generate Tone"
under Diagnostics. You
should hear a 400 hz tone.
Check the far-end Mute
icon. Ask the Far End to
un-mute.
Check your ISDN line. If
you are on a PBX, you may
need to install an ISDN
terminating resistor
between the ViewStation
and the S/T interface of
your PBX.
Disconnect call & reconnect
later.
Turn down output of
wireless microphone. Put
the ViewStation in local
loop and adjust mike output
until you hear your audio
coming back clear and crisp
with no clipping.
Connect the monitor or
audio amplifier to the
monitor audio out of the
ViewStation.
Check that the microphone
is connected properly. If
you have extended your
mike cable, check that it is
not longer than 60 feet.
