over.
When an ISDN line is

VSGi - Polycom ViewStation End-user Training Guide
Solution
Orangethe far-end
system has answered the
call.
Greenvideo sync is OK
[you have a connection].
Solution
Start by calling the Far End
at 1x64K or 2x64K. If you
can connect, this will verify
that primary video number
is correct. Next, try calling
at 256 kbps, and finally, at
384 kbps.
Go to the Call Status
screen. Highlight each of
the call-progress circles.
The number you dialed for
each channel will be
displayed as you highlight
the corresponding circle.
Make sure that the Far End
has entered the numbers
for each of their ISDN lines
correctly. The numbers you
see for Lines 1 to 4 should
correspond to Connections
1 to 4 on the IMUX.
Defective cable between
the IMUX and the
ViewStation. Check that
the green lights on each
ISDN card are on, and that
the green light on top of the
IMUX is on [red on older
units]. The cable from the
IMUX to the ViewStation is
a straight RJ-45 x RJ-45
cable [has RJ-45
terminations on both ends
of the cable].
This is normal. The green
lights are lit to indicate the
ISDN cards are working.
The lights will be lit with or
without a connection
between the ISDN lines and
the IMUX.
