The surface of the LSU window is dirty.
Dirty on the outside.
Original is damaged or dirty.
Original glass is dirty.
Check CCD lens surface against
contamination or foreign objects.

Yes Clean or replace the LSU.
Yes Clean or replace the drum unit.
Yes Change original.
Yes Wipe the surface clean with a soft
cloth.
Yes Clean the contaminated part.
