Cisco Unified IP Phones support both IPv4 and an IPv6 address transparently, so users can handle all calls on the phone to which they are accustomed. Cisco Unified IP Phones support the use of IPv6 only with Cisco Unified CM 7.1 and only with the Skinny Call Control Protocol (SCCP).

Securing the Phone with a Cable Lock You can secure the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7931G to a desktop using a laptop cable lock. The lock connects to the security slot on the back of the phone, and the cable can be secured to a desktop.
