THROTTLE BODY
4. Install:
• throttle cable
5. Check:
• throttle position sensor
Refer to "CHECKING AND ADJUSTING
THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR".
6. Adjust:
• throttle lever free play
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE THROTTLE
LEVER FREE PLAY" in chapter 3.
7. Adjust:
• engine idling speed
Refer to "ADJUSTING
IDLING SPEED" in chapter 3.

CHECKING THE FUEL PUMP AND
PRESSURE REGULATOR OPERATION
1. Check:
• pressure regulator operation

a. Remove the rear fender.
Refer to "REAR CARRIER AND REAR
FENDER" in chapter 3.
b. Remove the fuel hose connector holder.
c. Disconnect the fuel hose 1 from the fuel
pump.
NOTE:
• When removing the fuel hose from the fuel
pump, remove the fuel hose connector
holder first, and next, insert a slotted head
screw driver etc. in the slot part a of the fuel
hose connector cover 2, then slide it in the
direction of the arrow, and remove the fuel
hose.
• Before removing the hose, place a few rags
in the area under where it will be removed.
d. Connect the pressure gauge 3 and adapter
4 to the fuel pump and fuel hose.
