Monitor

The SELECT: MONITOR (Figure 5-6) menu is accessible from the SELECT menu.
When the MONITOR menu is entered, press [ ] or [ ] to select the desired function.
Each monitor function is displayed in real time for as long as it is selected.
The following listing describes each monitor function in detail.

Description
Up converter temperature monitor.
Range: -40 to +90° C (-40 to 194° F)
Down converter temperature monitor.
Range: -40 to +90° C (-40 to 194° F)
HPA temperature monitor.
Range: -40 to +90° C (-40 to 194° F)
M&C temperature monitor.
Range: -40 to +90° C (-40 to 194° F)
The PWR FCTR is a power factor of the output power of
the CEFD HPA. In actuality, power factor is a very
close indication of the output power. This function is
only available with Comtech supplied SSPAs.
SUM FLTS are the summary faults of the complete
KST-2000A/B system. If there are any faults present,
they can be seen via a FLT indication in this menu.
