Notes on Installing Expansion Cards
• Install installable expansion cards only.
• Before installing an expansion card, refer to the manual supplied with the expansion card.

7.4.3 How to Install Expansion Cards

Turn off the server and connected devices, and unplug all power cables from
the outlet.

Remove the side cover.

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.

Push the tabs on the slot fixing cover (1) to open to the rear side (2), and
remove the slot cover (3).
Be sure to keep the removed slot cover for later use.
If operating the server with no expansion card, attach the slot cover to keep dust away.
