Policy
INVACARE Ltd Policy is as follows:
• Repairs to any component other than those detailed in this manual are not covered. Repairs
to any tube metal work is not generally permitted without express permission of INVACARE
Ltd. All fasteners i.e. bolts, Nyloc nuts, and any fastener showing damage must be renewed.
• Under no circumstances attempt to repair a crash damaged chair. Contact Technical Services for
further Information.
•
Alterations to the wheelchair which occur as a result of incorrectly or improperly executed
maintenance or overhaul work lead to the exclusion of all liability on the side of INVACARE.
• We reserve the right to make any alterations on the grounds of technical improvements.
• Information about operation or about general maintenance and care work should be taken from
the wheelchair Operating Manual.
Failure to comply with the above absolves INVACARE Ltd of liability.
Note: Certain components will require removal to carry out maintenance. With the exception
of fasteners, those components should be refitted.

Notes on transport

•
If the wheelchair has to be shipped back to the manufacturer for major repairs, you should always
use the original packaging for transport.
•
You should also include as accurate a fault description as possible.
