Display-freeze period for

the most recent time

Freeze time in seconds.
After the start of a new lap the
time for the preceding lap re-
mains visible for the selected
z
period. When this freeze period
expires the readout switches
back to the running time for the
current lap.
Minimum lap time
If an infrared receiver is used for
timing laps, you can set the min-
imum time that must elapse from
when the first signal is received
until a second signal will be ac-
cepted. This prevents the signals
from two or more transmitters in
close proximity from being ac-
cepted for processing.
Note too that within this time,
pressing the headlight flasher
button will not start timing for a
new lap.
Indicator for bulb failure
If a bulb or the number-plate car-
rier is removed in preparation for
a race-track session, the elec-
tronics detect a bulb failure and
the appropriate warning appears
on the display.
This function suppresses this
warning.
