The formatting process deletes all data from the HDD.

Protection Off: the padlock is opened.
Delete all titles
Confirm [Delete all titles] with OK.

Format Disc
Some discs are not formatted. They must be formatted before they can be used in
this unit. The formatting process deletes all data from the disc. The menu shows
how long the formatting process will probably take.
