If a password has been specified, type in the password, and then click
[Apply].
– If no password was specified for the user box, click [Apply] without
entering anything.
– If enhanced security settings have been applied or bit 7 of mode
469 is set to "1" in the Soft SW Setting screen, logon is no longer
possible if the password is incorrectly entered the specified number
of times. For details on the enhanced security settings, refer to the
User manual [Copy Operations]. For details on the software switch
settings, refer to "Specifying software switch settings (machine
functions)" on page 6-22.
