To place the original on the original glass

Lift open the ADF.

Place the original so that the side to be
scanned faces down, and then place the page
on the original glass.
– Load the original pages so that the top of the
original is toward the back or the left side of
the machine.

Align the original with
the mark in the back-
left corner of the
measuring guide.

Close the ADF.
