or 40 I/O points and used as an RS-232C
port.
CP1W-CIF11
This Option Board can be mounted in the
option slot of a CP1E N-type CPU Unit with 30
or 40 I/O points and used as an RS-422A/485
port.
The maximum transmission distance is 50 m.
CP1W-CIF12
This Option Board can be mounted in the
option slot of a CP1E N-type CPU Unit with 30
or 40 I/O points and used as an RS-422A/485
port.
The maximum transmission distance is 500 m.
CP1W-BAT01
The Battery can be mounted to a CP1E N-
type CPU Unit.
Mount a Battery to an N-type CPU Unit if data
in the following areas need to be retained after
a power interruption.
• DM Area (D) (excluding words backed up to
the EEPROM using the DM backup function)
• Holding Area (H)
• Counter Present Values and Completion
Flags (C)
• Auxiliary Area related to clock function (A)
The Battery cannot be mounted to the CP1E
E-type CPU Unit.

• The CX-Programmer for CP1E supports
the CP1E.
• Use an off-the-shelf USB cable to connect
the computer running the CX-Program-
mer for CP1E to the peripheral USB port
on the CP1E CPU Unit.
