5. Start the compressor by flicking the
switch to position I.
IMPORTANT
Risk of overheating. The compressor must
not run for more than 10 minutes.
6. Inflate the tyre to the pressure specified in
accordance with the tyre pressure table,
Tyres - approved tyre pressures (p. 387).
Release air using the pressure reducing
valve if the tyre pressure is too high.
7. Refit the dust cap.

Refit the valve cover
by pressing one
edge of the cover (the one without the
hole) into place (nearest the tyre), see
Emergency puncture repair - rechecking
(p. 323). Then fold the cover in toward the
wheel rim - and at the same time, gently
press down the angled top edge in order
to help it in under the edge of the wheel
rim. Check that the cover is flush with the
surface of the wheel rim - if not, gently
press in the part that is bulging out.
8. Switch off the compressor Detach the air
hose and cable.

Emergency puncture repair kit -
sealant
The container (bottle) with the emergency
puncture repair kit (p. 320) contains sealant
and it can be replaced.
Replace the bottle when the expiration date
has passed. Treat the old bottle as environ-
mentally hazardous waste.
WARNING
The bottle contains 1.2-Ethanol and natu-
ral rubber-latex.
Harmful if ingested. Could result in allergic
reaction in the event of skin contact.
Avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
Store out of the reach of children.
