Preconditioning - messages

Symbols and messages regarding precondi-
tioning.
When the fuel-driven heater has
been activated the heat symbol illu-
minates in the information display.

When one of the timers has been activated,
the symbol for activated timer illuminates in
the display at the same time as the set time is
shown next to the symbol.
Specification
The fuel-driven heater is switched on and running.
The heater's timer is activated after the remote control key has been removed from the igni-
tion switch and leaving the car - the engine and passenger compartment are heated at the set
time.
The fuel-driven heater is stopped by the car's electronics in order to facilitate starting the
engine.
The starter battery's charge level is too low.
The fuel-driven heater is stopped.
Setting the heater is not possible due to fuel level being too low - this is in order to facilitate
starting the engine as well as approx. 50 km driving.
The fuel-driven heater is fully or partially disengaged.
Visit a workshop if the message remains. Volvo recommends that you contact an authorised
Volvo workshop.
The electrically-driven heater or AC system is stopped.
The transfer of energy is interrupted.
