Setting Your Home Port

By setting your home port you can easily create a route home using
the Navigate to Home Port option in the Find Menu. Be sure to
save your home port as a waypoint before your "set" your home
port.
To set your home port:
1. Press MENU twice to open the Main Menu.
2. Use the Rocker key to highlight Vessel.
3. Highlight the Current Vessel field and press ENTER.
4. Select the vessel for which you want to set the home port
and press ENTER.
5. Highlight the Home Port field and press ENTER. Press
ENTER again to open the Find Menu. Find your home port
using the Find Menu. Refer to "Finding an Item" beginning on
page 15 for more information about finding places.
6. Highlight your Home Port in the search result list and press
ENTER.
7. From the Waypoint Review Page, highlight OK and press
ENTER. Your Home Port is now set.

Navigating to Your Home Port

Once you have set you home port, you can quickly return to it by
pressing a few buttons.
To navigate to your home port:
1. Press the FIND button.
2. Use the Rocker key to highlight Navigate to Home Port and
press ENTER.
The 276C Plus generates a route to your home port. If you do not
have a home port set, the Vessel page opens for you to set your
home port.
NOTE: The Home Port feature is only available in the sea
modes: Powerboat and Sailboat. The Home Port is not available
in the Automotive and Off Road modes.
