Press MULTI-CONTROL to switch the di-
gital attenuator setting.
! HIGH – High quality sound
! LOW – Minimize distortion sound

Resetting the audio functions

Only when the multi-channel processor (e.g.,
DEQ-P6600) is connected to this unit, you can
operate this function.
You can reset audio functions other than the
following settings.
! Volume setting (refer to Adjusting the vo-
lume on page 19)
! Listening position setting (refer to Using
the position selector on page 68)
! Fader/balance setting (refer to Using bal-
ance adjustment on page 68)
! SLA (source level adjustment) setting (refer
to Adjusting source levels on page 70)
! Dynamic range control (refer to Using the
dynamic range control on page 70)
! Direct control setting (refer to Using the di-
rect control on page 70)
! Down-mix setting (refer to Using the down-
mix function on page 70)

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
AUDIO RESET.
Refer to Adjusting initial settings on page 52.

Press MULTI-CONTROL to display OK.
# To cancel resetting the audio functions, press
BAND.

Push MULTI-CONTROL right to display
REALLY?.
# To cancel resetting the audio functions, press
BAND.

Other Functions

Using the AUX source

Up to two auxiliary devices such as VCR or
portable devices (sold separately) can be con-
nected to this unit. When connected, auxiliary
devices are automatically read as AUX sources
and assigned to AUX1 or AUX2. The relation-
ship between AUX1 and AUX2 sources is ex-
plained below.
About AUX1 and AUX2
There are two methods to connect auxiliary de-
vices to this unit.
AUX1 source:
When connecting auxiliary device using a mini
plug cable
! If an iPod with video capabilities is con-
nected to this unit via 3.5 mm plug (4 pole)
cable (e.g., CD-V150M), you can enjoy the
video contents of the iPod.
! It is possible to connect a portable audio/
video player by using a 3.5 mm plug (4
pole) to RCA cable, which is sold sepa-
rately. However, depending on the cable, re-
verse connection between Red (right side
audio) cable and yellow (video) cable is re-
quired. Otherwise, audio and video may not
be correctly reproduced.
% Insert the mini plug into the AUX input
jack on this unit.
For more details, refer to the installation man-
ual.
This auxiliary device is automatically set to
AUX1.
AUX2 source:
When connecting auxiliary device using an IP-
BUS-RCA Interconnector (sold separately)
