Partitioning the Replacement Mirrored Disk
Note:
Because this is the target of a mirror copy when its IOP rejoins the server, you
complete only the following minimum partitioning steps. After the initial mirror
copy completes, this disk has the correct disk format, disk label, disk partitions,
and disk data.
To partition a replacement mirrored disk:

Ensure that you are in Offline
Endurance I/O Processor Mode,
and then login to Windows NT.

Start the Disk Administrator.

Delete any existing partitions on the
replacement disk.

Select Partition
Notes
To start Disk Administrator, from the Task bar, select
Start
Administrator
Create.
• All mirrored disks (including the one that contains the CE
boot partition) must have a partition at the end of the disk of
24 MB or the largest possible partition that does not exceed
24 MB.
