Server Shutdown Command

This command shuts down the CE's operating system and then shuts down the operating system
on each available IOP.
Note:
This command is the preferred method for shutting down the server.

x – the ID number of the IOP (1 or 2)
Variables
The monitor on the specified IOP initiates a shutdown of the server. First, a

request is issued by the monitor on the specified IOP to the CE Endurance
Manager service to shut down the operating system if the CE operating
system is booted. The CE Endurance Manager service initiates the CE
operating system shutdown. When complete, the monitor on the specified
IOP initiates a shutdown of the remote IOP (if it is available), followed by a
shutdown of the local IOP. The server reboots when the IOPs and CEs
become available.

Check the status of the server in the Endurance Manager Main window
on the IOPs and the CEs. Determine which, if any, system elements were
removed.
Review the Windows NT Event Viewer for a message that indicates that
the command failed.
