If you prefer, you might use the function
list in place of Steps 2 and 3 to initiate
this function.
Press the Menu button to enter the
function list.
Press the Next button repeatedly.
When you reach the Remote Program
button, press it.
Press ENTER.
4. Select RPS via Network.
5. Do one of the following:
 My system uses the default port number
for network connection. Press Use Port
### and then skip to Step 7.
My system uses an alternate port number

for network connection: _____________.
6. Select the Enter Port Number option and enter
the port number specified.
7. The security system now connects to the IP
Address specified for network connection
during the remote programming session.
8. At the conclusion of the programming session
your system sends a report to the security
company and then returns the display to idle
text.

Change Time/Date (CMD + 4 + 5)

The time and date in your system must be correct for
scheduled events to occur at the correct times. Check
the time at least once a month to ensure accuracy. Use
this function to set both the time and date. The system
uses a 12-hour, AM/PM format. There is the option to
continuously display the time and date in place of area
status. The Time and Date is shown continuously until
a new command is entered or the current area's status
has changed. Refer to Change Display (CMD + 4 + 9) on
page 42, Time/Date Display for more information.
1. Ensure your keypad shows idle disarmed text.
2. Press the CMD button. The display shows
*System Command*.
3. Press the 4 and then the 5 button.
If you prefer, you might use the function
list in place of Steps 2 and 3 to initiate
this function.
Press the Menu button to enter the
function list.
Press the Next button repeatedly.
When you reach the Change Time/Date
button, press it.
4. The display shows Enter new time.
To just change the date, press the Set Date
button. Refer to Step 6.
If you input the wrong time, press the Exit
button to clear the time.
