If you have not armed or extended closing, the Please
Close Now message and beep reappears after 10
minutes. Your alarm company sets the length of time
for the closing window. To extend the window, enter
the new time at which you would like the reminder
tone to begin. This time is the new beginning of the
closing window. The time length of the closing window
is programmed by your security company and remains
fixed.
When you hear the warning you can:

Press the Silence button silences the beep and
clear the message for 10 minutes

Leave before the end of the closing window

Stay past the scheduled end of the closing window,
by using CMD 51 to extend the closing window.
Extending the closing window will not
effect the amount of time available to close.
For example, if your closing window starts
at 4:00 p.m. and stops at 4:30 p.m. and
you extend closing to 5:00 p.m., the
closing window is now between 5:00 and
5:30 p.m.
1. Ensure your keypad shows idle disarmed text.
2. Press the CMD button. The display shows
*System Command*.
3. Press the 5 button and then the 1 button.

If you prefer, you might use the function
list in place of Steps 2 and 3 to initiate
this function.
Press the Menu button to enter the
function list.
Press the Next button repeatedly.
When you reach the Extend Closing
button, press it.
4. The display changes to show the current start time.
Press the Change button to change the start time.
Press the Accept button to accept the start time
and return to idle text.
5. Enter the new time using a 12-hour (HH:MM)
format.
Example: If the desired time is 12:34, press [1]
[2] [3] [4]
Press the AM button to select AM.
Press the PM button to select PM.
6. The display changes to show the new start time
briefly before returning to idle text.
7. Press the Accept button to accept the Close Start
time.
