11.7 Using the Locking Cantilever Arms

1. Push the locking mechanism actuator (A) towards the front of the
wheelchair.
2. While holding the locking mechanism actuator, pull up on the
cantilever arm (B) towards the rear of the wheelchair.
 If necessary, the locking mechanism in the
cantilever arm can be repositioned so the
cantilever arm will open down instead of up. For
this adjustment, contact a qualified technician.
3. To lock the cantilever arm, push down until there is an audible click.
4. Pull up on the cantilever arm to make sure it is locked in place.

11.8 Removing/Installing Locking Cantilever Arms

Removing
1. Remove the two mounting screws (A) and washers (B) that secures
the clamp (C) to the back cane (D).
2. Remove the clamp (C) and cantilever arm (E) from the back cane
(D).
Installing
1. Secure the cantilever arm (E) to the back cane with two mounting
screws (A), washers (B) and clamp (C). Tighten securely.
