4. Remove the screws from the hinges, 2 on each side.
5. Lift out the LCD assembly.

To remove the top cover, remove the hard disk drive (see
(see Optical Disk Drive), remove the keyboard (see Keyboard), remove the LCD assembly (see
Assembly), and then perform the following steps:
1. Carefully disconnect the speaker cable connector.
