If you are adding the LCS domain to an existing DNS Domain, you will need to configure

LCS Middleware Communications Service
After Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch My Teamwork for Microsoft Office Communicator 2005
is installed and the server is rebooted, Live Communications Server Middleware
Communications Service (MidCommun) will be automatically installed on the My
Teamwork server. You will need to configure the MidCommun service to respond
appropriately to Live Communication Server requests and provision each user (via My
Teamwork user settings) who requires Live Communications Server integration.
