    Introduction This manual is for system administrators running OmniTouch Fax Server in the Linux operating system.     Chapter 1 Introduction Microsoft Outlook Forms The Microsoft Outlook Forms provide a broader faxing interface within Outlook. Forms include a fax composition form, a preview form, and several notification forms. The Microsoft Outlook user selects whichever form is required. SMTP Gateway The SMTP gateway is used to integrate with all mail systems (SMTP/POP3, Exchange, Domino).

    Administrator Login First-Time Login While the OmniTouch Fax Server is being installed, an administrator password is requested. But when the system administrator logs in for the first time, this password must be changed before proceeding any further. There are two options for logging into OmniTouch Fax Server: 1 Open a Web browser.

    Web Administrator: System Configuration The Configuration node in the Web Administrator allows a system administrator to configure the following system components: Incoming routing table; ❐ Modification table; ❐ System administrator accounts; ❐ Deletion policy; ❐ General settings; ❐ Driver Driver properties for a particular host include General Options, such as Log file size, Information Logging Level, Display Name, T.38 Gateway and Gatekeeper options, Dial Plan and Peer List.

Adding a gateway entry to the peer list The first step is to add the additional gateway or gateways to the peer list.
