4-3. Cleaning the Air Filter

To avoid risk of injury, never operate or power the 5820A
calibrator without the fan filter in place.
To avoid possible damage caused by overheating, keep the
area around the fan unrestricted. If the air intake becomes
restricted, the intake air will be too warm, or the filter will
become clogged.
The air filter must be removed and cleaned every 30 days or more frequently if the
calibrator is operated in a dusty environment. The air filter is accessible from the rear
panel of the calibrator.
