Paper

Available paper types

This section explains what kind of paper you can use with your printer. Be sure only to use paper
mentioned in this section.
Note:
The printer is extremely sensitive to moisture. Be sure to store your paper in a dry environment.
General paper
You can use the following paper.
Paper Type
Plain paper
Envelopes
Labels
Thick paper
Transparencies
Colored paper
Letterhead
* Use recycled paper only under normal temperature and humidity conditions. Poor quality paper may reduce print
quality, cause paper jams and other problems.
** Gaps between labels may cause the labels to peel off inside the printer and damage the printer.
Description
Recycled paper is acceptable *
Weight: 60 to 90 g/m2 (16 to 24 lb)
No paste and no tape
No plastic windows (unless specifically designed for laser printers)
Weight: 70 to 105 g/m2 (23 to 28 lb)
The backing sheet should be covered completely, with no gaps between labels **
Weight: 90 to 163 g/m2 (24 to 43 lb)
Transparencies for monochrome laser printers or copiers can be used.
Non-coated
Paper with preprinted letterhead, provided that the paper and ink are both
compatible with laser printers. Paper which has been printed on with laser
printers, ink jet printers, or other printers cannot be used.
