too much time into the OTR timer,

You will "cycle" around

over, adding
time in
30 minute
intervals.

If you press the PAUSE
button
during
OTR, the VCR will pause
recording,
but the OTR timer
continues
to colmt down.
If you press
STOP during
OTR, you erase the OTR programming.
Using One Key Programming
One Key Programming
is a programming
method
that is simple
to use and easy to learn,
without
using the remote
control.
Beforeyou begin,
° you need to know how to view the pict_Lre coming from your
VCR; (see page 21) and
• you must have set the clock. (See page 27.)
To use One-Key
Programming:
O
Load a tape that
has not had its erasure
tab removed
into the
VCR.
O
If you have not already
done so, set the speed that you would
like to record.
(See "Using the Audio and Video Functions,"
page 26.)
O
Press the ONE KEY PROGRAM
button
on the front panel. (If
you have not set the time, the "Set the clock" menu
will
appear.
Set the clock, and then proceed.)
:If there is already
a
program
in the VCR's memory,
you will see the "recap"
screen.
You can use the ONE I_3Y PROGRAM
button
to
select an empty
programming
slot, or you can wait 4 seconds
for the VCR to automatically
select an empty
slot.
O
You will see the "Program
to record" screen.
Press the ONE
KEY PROGRAM
button
until the channM
you would like 1;o
record
(for example,
channel
2) appears.
Then, wait for 4
seconds.
The cursor will move down to the next position,
"Day." (If you are recording
from a cable box that the VCR
cannot
control, set the channel
to 3 or 4, whichever
the cable
box sends signals
on.)
If you wish to record from an external
source, press
the O]_E KEY
PROGRAM
button
until "External"
appears.
