lock light (LOCK)
This lights up when the "Child Lock _
feature is in use.
counter display
This displays either the current time or
how long the tape has run. The counter is
automatically set to 0H00M00S when a new
tape is loaded. The current time is dis-
played whenever the VCR is turned off,
when there is no tape in the VCR, or when
you press the DISPLAY button.
digital tracking light (DTR)
This will flash when you fLrst play a new
cassette, indicating that the VCR is

adjusting the tracking. When tracldng is
finished, it will glow ,;teadily. If you adjust
the tracking manu_flly, it will turn off
play light (PI__kY)
This lights up when the VCR is playing a
tape.
index light
This will flash when you are writing an
index mark and light up when you begin
searcKing for an index mark.

C) power button (POWER)
Press this button to turn the VCR on or off. If you
have programmed the VCR to record, you need to
turn the VCR off.

TV button (TV)
Your VCR remote control can be used to control
most of the functions of many brands of televi-
sions. After setting up your remote for your
particular brand of television, press this button
when you want to use the remote to operate your
television. See your TV owner's guide for more
information about operating your TV.

Use these buttons to _elect television
stations.
input button (INP[_r)
Press this button to select between the
antenna and any other video equipment
that may be connected.
® function button (AUDIO/VIDEO)
Press this button to adjust the VCR's
audio _md video functions.
