Press the MENU button "_ [] (Playback menu) (_129) _ _ Delete
Delete selected or all pictures.
Erase selected images
Delete selected pictures (see "Selecting Pictures" ([_130) for more information).

Notes on Deletion
• Once deleted, pictures cannot be recovered. Transfer irr_portant irr_agesto a corr_puter before
deletion.
• Pictures marked with the _ icon are protected and cannot be deleted,

Press the MENU button "_ [] (Playback menu) (_129) -) O'n Protect
Protect selected pictures from accidental deletion.
Select tile picture and apply tile setting in tile picture selection screen (see
"Selecting Pictures" ([_130) for more information).
Note, however, that formatting the camera's internal memory or the memory card
will permanently erase protected files ([_147).
Protected pictures are recognized by the @_dicon in playback mode ([_9, 72).
