The Address Book
Name Search—to search for a specific name in your personal
Address Book, enter the name by using the dialpad.

Using the Search feature

You can search for a contact that is in your Avaya 1200 Series IP
Deskphone Address Book. You can save a contact name and SIP
address found on the call server to your personal Address Book stored in
your IP Deskphone.

Using Local Search

You can search for a contact that is stored in your Address Book.
To search for a contact stored in your Address Book:
Select

1. Press the
Services
Search, and then select
from the menu.
2. Press the
Up/Down
then press the
soft key to choose a search criteria:
— 1. User Name
— 2. Name
— 3. Phone Number
3. Press the
abc/123
key to toggle between alphabetic and
numeric characters.
