Adjust the side 1 margins to the maximum negative value:
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to scroll through the range of values, which is -40
to +40 units.
Set the value to -40, then press OK.
Select Adjust Side 1 "B" Margin, then press OK.
Record the value _________________________________.
Set the value to -40, then press OK.
Select Print Calibrate Margins Page, then press OK. The Calibrate Margins Page
is generated. Using a pen or pencil, write "A & B Margins = -40" at the top of the page.
Adjust the side 1 margin's to the maximum positive value:
Select Adjust Side 1 "A" Margin, then press OK.
Set the value to +40, then press OK.
Select Adjust Side 1 "B" Margin, then press OK.
Set the value to +40, then press OK.
Select Print Calibrate Margins Page, then press OK. The Calibrate Margins Page
is generated. Using a pen or pencil, write "A & B Margins = +40" at the top of
the page.
Compare the original Calibrate Margins Page to the pages generated after changing
the Side 1 "A" and "B" margin values.
Reset the Side 1 "A" and "B" Margin values back to those recorded in steps 2 and
3, respectively.
Select Print Calibrate Margins Page, then press OK. The printed image should
return to its original location on the page.
If a Duplex Unit is installed, follow the instructions on the Calibrate Margins Page to
view the effects of adjusting the Side 2 "A" and "B" Margins to their minimum and
maximum values. Upon completion, reset the values and reprint the Calibrate Margins
Page to verify proper adjustment.
