TROUBLESHOOTING

ENGINE LACKS POWER

INSPECTION
1. Check tire pressure.
Pressure normal
2. Raise wheels off ground and
rotate by hands.
Wheel rotate freely.
3. Accelerate suddenly.
Engine speed increased.
4. Accelerate lightly.
Engine speed increased.
5. Check ignition timing by
using timing light.
Correct
6. Check valve clearance
Correct
7. Measure the cylinder
compression.
Compression normal
8. Check the carburetor for
clogging.
Not clogged
