Replicating DVDs
To produce multiple copies of your DVD, you can burn them yourself, either in Adobe Encore DVD or by using a
third-party mastering application. Producing them in Adobe Encore DVD works best for limited quantities and
requires the appropriate hardware or software. However, if you require a large quantity of DVDs, use a professional
replication facility for mass production. Most replication facilities can accept files in several formats, such as DLT or
a DVD image. Contact your replication facility for specific information.
Note: DVDs that use copy protection or region coding must currently be replicated at a professional replication facility.
(The replication facility will collect royalties.) If you burn these types of DVDs from Adobe Encore DVD, the resulting
discs will work, but they will not include copy protection or region coding. For information on region coding, see "To set
region coding" on page 191.
